Siriusmodeselektor
A collaboration pairing Siriusmo with Modeselektor, billed as a reunion of a band that never existed, with a shared focus on Euro Crunk, Acid Rap, and Big Bass Techno.
The Project
Siriusmodeselektor brings together Siriusmo and Modeselektor for a back-to-back live format built around all three artists' own material. The project is framed as the reunion of a band that never existed, leaning on shared sensibilities in Euro Crunk, Acid Rap, Big Bass Techno, and psychedelic electro.
Visuals for the live shows have been created in collaboration with Pfadfinderei, adding a distinct stage identity to the performances.
Monkeytown has long been recognised as a hub for adventurous electronic music, bringing together a roster of producers whose work spans club techno, experimental beats, and leftfield pop. The label and booking family has helped shape a generation of European dance floors, championing artists who value detail, personality, and a sense of humour in equal measure. From flagship acts to carefully supported newcomers, the focus has always been on music that feels alive on stage as well as in the studio, giving audiences a reason to keep coming back to the Brueckenstrasse home base and to follow the artists wherever they travel.
Within that wider family, collaborative projects sit naturally alongside the solo work, since shared studios and shared tastes have always been part of the label's DNA. Side projects and back-to-back formations allow familiar names to step outside their usual roles, swapping gear, blending catalogues, and testing ideas in front of live audiences before committing them to record. These pairings are often framed playfully, as reunions of bands that never quite existed the first time around, leaning on the chemistry built through years of working in the same rooms, releasing on the same imprints, and touring the same clubs across Europe.
Live performance is where the whole roster truly comes into focus, with shows built around a balance of new material, catalogue favourites, and improvised transitions that reflect the mood of the room. Touring schedules typically trace a path through key European cities, with stops in places like Berlin, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Hamburg, and Zurich, alongside dates in Italy, Spain, and Central Europe. Each night is treated as its own event, supported by carefully matched visual collaborators and a touring crew that understands how to translate club-focused music into larger concert settings while keeping the energy direct and unforced.
